F2 – Delétraz leads the first day of testing

During the first day of testing, the times established during the second semi-night session were faster than those achieved in the morning where Lando Norris (Campos) had been the fastest. In this session, Louis Delétraz was the fastest with the MP Motorsport with a best time of 1'48''282. He is half a tenth ahead of Alex Albon on DAMS and Norman Born, back with Racing Engineering, his team in 2016.

Santino Ferrucci (Trident) finishes day 4e before Nyck de Vries, slowed down in the morning by a problem with his Prema. Lando Norris remains the best rookie with a 7e place ahead of GP3 champion George Russell (ART Grand Prix).

Former teammates Russian Time, Luca Ghiotto and Artem Markelov follow in 8e and 9e position, the Italian teaming up with MP Motorsport. Arjun Maini finishes the session in 10e position with Trident. Neither session was interrupted by a red flag.
