F2 – Nicholas Latifi confirmed with DAMS

Already aligned by the Ruaudin structure in 2017, Nicholas latifi, winner of a race at Silverstone last year, will extend his lease with DAMS in 2018. The Force India reserve driver will team up in Bahrain with a newcomer in the person ofAlexander albon.

The Thai reached the podium twice in 2017 with ART Grand Prix. The two teammates took part in pre-season testing in Bahrain with the new 2018 single-seaters.

“My goal is to win the Drivers' championship while helping DAMS for the Teams' title which we almost won last year, admits Latifi. In recent seasons we have built excellent relationships and this will help us develop the new car.

Everyone is starting from scratch but DAMS has worked a lot this winter and I think we will be in the game from the first round. I’m also excited to start collaborating with Alex. »
