F2 – Norris still in the lead for the second day

On the occasion of a milder morning than the day before, the pilots of F2 were able to try out the use of super-soft Pirelli tires on the Paul Ricard circuit (Var) for the second day of winter testing. This brought down the times and it's all over again Lando Norris (Carlin) who came away with the best time in 1’42”226. He is one tenth ahead of his teammate Sergio Sette Câmara and two tenths ahead of the driver Renault Jack Aitken (ART GP).

The afternoon session was dedicated to long relay simulations but some drivers also completed qualifying laps. This is the case ofAlexander albon (DAMS) who set the best time of the afternoon in 1'42''406 at the very end of the session, more than three tenths faster than Nyck de Vries (Prema Racing) and Louis Delétraz (Charouz).

The day was once again marked by mechanical problems for some of the teams, which considerably reduced the running of rookies George Russell (ART GP), Maximilian Günther (Arden) and Tadasuke Makino (Russian Time).

Only one change of driver is to be noted for the last day of testing since Oliver Rowland will hand over the DAMS to Daniel Ticktum who will make his first laps in F2.

2 rankinge F2 testing day at Paul Ricard
