F2 – Roberto Merhi in testing with Campos Racing

After having evolved in 2015 within Marussia F1 Team and the following year in WEC on an Oreca 05 from the Manor team, Roberto Merhi will return to the car by joining the ranks of the F2, new name of the GP2 Series, in the hope of completing the Campos Racing crew which Ralph Boschung confirmed earlier today.

The 2011 champion of the F3 Euro Series, aged 25, will take part in the three days of testing planned in Barcelona (Spain). The Spaniard had already driven a Dallara GP2/11 during testing at the Catalunya circuit in 2011 when he worked with the Arden team.
