F2 – Rowland and Ticktum in tests with Dams

According to our information, the British will share the car initially planned for Nicholas latifi, who has defended the colors of the French team since 2016 in the official antechamber of the F1. The Canadian driver, also a reserve with Force India, suffers from an infection which will keep him away from the circuits for six weeks.

Recently promoted to Young Driver Williams, Oliver Rowland will ride during the first two days of testing. The former Formula champion Renault 3.5 knows the Dams environment well having successfully evolved there last year in F2 (3rd in the Drivers' standings with two victories and 10 podiums). Rowland will then pass the baton to his compatriot Daniel Ticktum, protected Red Bull and winner of the last Macau Grand Prix of Formula 3. The 18-year-old prospect has already been confirmed in the F3 European Championship with Motopark this season.

In the second car, Dams, who has not yet confirmed his driver duo for the coming season, will field Alexander albon, 3 GP2016 Series vice-champion and present in F2 with ART Grand Prix last year.
