Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.dams) reduced his Championship deficit to one point by winning the Berlin ePrix ahead of Abt Audi Sport drivers Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi. The Swiss took the advantage over pole sitter Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Virgin Racing) before resisting the red and yellow cars in the second part of the event.
Nicolas Cheers (Renault e.dams) finished at the foot of the podium, ahead of Jean-Éric Vergne who lost time by destroying his front wing on a curb. Robin Frijns (Andretti) follows in sixth place ahead of Nick Heidfeld (Mahindra Racing) and Mike conway (Venturi).
Simona de Silvestro (Andretti) and Stéphane Sarrazin (Venturi) complete the top ten. The French driver made a good comeback after starting from the pits following his accident during the second practice session.
Sam Bird (DS Virgin Racing) was at the front before being called back to the pits by the race management due to damage to his car. The Briton finished just outside the points. Jérôme d'Ambrosio (Dragon Racing) ranks 16th. Loïc duval (Dragon Racing) abandoned after finishing his race in the wall, causing the safety car to come out at the end of the event.
