FE – Gasly to replace Buemi in New York?

According to our information, the pilot Red Bull Pierre Gasly could replace Sébastien Buemi on the occasion of thee-Price from New York. The Swiss has yet to announce his decision to participate either in the penultimate round of the championship Formula E, or at the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring in the championship WEC with Toyota.

Pierre Gasly knows the DAMS teams well after spending his first full year there in the GP2 championship in 2015. He also has close relationships with Renault and Buemi in his capacity as Red Bull Racing reserve and development driver. His presence would allow Buemi to enter the WEC and maintain hopes of titles in both championships.

Gasly nevertheless remains completely new to Formula E and could even miss the shakedown because of his prerogatives at the Red Bull simulator to replace Buemi for the British Grand Prix.
