Felipe Massa will take his first steps in Formula E by testing the Jaguar I-type 1 during a test session organized by the British team. The Brazilian had expressed his interest in the electric single-seater discipline when he planned to leave the F1 before being called back by Williams following the departure of Valtteri Bottas in Mercedes.
“Panasonic Jaguar Racing received a request from Formula E to give Felipe Massa the chance to test a car electric and we are happy to offer him this chance”, commented the team which did not specify the date and place where the testing session would be organized.
Mitch Evans and Adam Carroll are the two starting drivers at Jaguar Racing this year.
