FE – Pole position at home for Vergne

Already the author of the best time in the first part of qualifying despite being part of the first group to start, Jean-Eric Vergne (Techeetah) dominated the Superpole by posting a time of 1'01''144 and scored three precious points for the championship.

On the grid, the Frenchman will be ahead of his championship rival Sam Bird (DS Virgin) by 2 tenths behind the Techeetah driver. Andre Lotterer places the second Techeetah in the top 3. The qualifying surprise comes from the presence of Maro Engel (Venturi) in 4e place and Antonio Felix Da Costa (Andretti) who closes the top 5.

Lucas Di Grassi (Audi) is the first eliminated from the Superpole thanks to the German's time. Jérôme d’Ambrosio (Dragon) scores a good 7e time just ahead Sébastien Buemi (Renault E.Dams). Oliver Turvey (NIO Nextev) and José Maria Lopez (Dragon) completed the top 10 in qualifying which was generally very close since there was only 390 thousandths of a second between the first best time of Vergne and Lopez. Nicolas Cheers (Renault E.Dams) qualifies in 13e position.

The start of the Paris e-Prix will be at 16 p.m. at the Invalides circuit.
