Felipe Drugovich with MP Motorsport

MP Motorsport has confirmed its first steering wheel for the 2020 season of F2 with the arrival of Felipe Drugovich. The 19-year-old Brazilian will make his debut in the discipline after a year spent in F3 with Carlin where he finished in 16th place. He took part in the post-season testing in Abu Dhabi at the Yas Marina circuit.

“We worked very well during these tests and that gives me confidence that we will do well in 2020, assures the new recruit. I can't wait to get back behind the wheel for pre-season testing and compete in my first race in F2. »

Felipe Drugovich started in car in 2016 competing in German F4 before securing his first MRF Challenge victory and later winning the title in that discipline as well as the Euroformula Open. During post-season testing, he set the 10th time in the general classification, finishing 4th among the rookies.
