Formula E – e.dams shared after Buenos Aires

e.dams was shared at the end of the Buenos Aires ePrix (Argentina) with disappointment for Sébastien Buemi who retired following contact with the wall after having taken pole and joy with Nicolas’ second place Cheers which represents his first podium in Formula E.

It's a hard blow for the Swiss who falls to third position in the Championship, 15 points behind leader Lucas di Grassi (Audi Sport Abt), only 16th in Buenos Aires. “I was really disappointed for the team. We had a great opportunity to take plenty of points after taking pole and we could have gotten ahead of our opponents”, said the reigning world champion of WEC.

Nicolas Prost, on the other hand, was in a better mood since his performance allowed him to move within one point of his teammate, while the French team is 11 points ahead of Virgin Racing at the top of the Teams' Championship. “I am very happy to dedicate this podium to the team”, added the Frenchman. “Paradoxically, the Buenos Aires circuit was the one where I felt the least comfortable since the start of the Championship. I had many problems, especially with the brakes. But I had to finish the race and I knew how to be aggressive at the right time by using my intelligence at the crucial moment. 2015 is off to a good start and I hope we continue this trend. »
