Formula E – Putrajaya circuit revealed

The Putrajaya circuit in Malaysia will be covered by the Spark SRT_01E on November 22. After the meeting in Beijing (China) which saw the victory of Lucas di Grassi following the impressive crash of Nick Heidfeld (video), Formula E will carry out its second event on a 2,5km track to the south of Perdana Putra . The route will feature 12 turns combining long straights, chicanes, curves, tight bends, and even an impressive hairpin.

“It’s a very interesting circuit with many different corners”, comments Daniel Abt, driver at Audi Sport Abt. “The chicane at turn 1 will be a first opportunity to overtake. The mixture of medium and slow turns that follow will make for a very grouped peloton. The next opportunity to attack will be towards turn 6 which is precisely located towards the “Fan Zone”. Turn 9 reminds me of the Macau hairpin. In any case, this circuit turns out to be very promising. »
