- This is proof that you should never give up. Despite a car rolling unbalanced after contact at the exit of turn 2, Oliver Berman found the necessary resources to dominate all of his comrades.
- While we thought he was expelled from the Top 10, the Prema driver came out of nowhere to take an almost surprise pole position. While the improvements were pouring in and the checkerboard was agitated, the Briton took everyone by surprise by setting a lap in 1'52. Enough to steal first place from Enzo Fittipaldi (Carlin) by only 652 thousandths. Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) was also a serious contender but he ultimately failed at 53 thousandths, settling for 3e place ahead of Frederik Vesti (Prema) and Dennis Hauger (MP Motorsport)
- Long behind, Victor Martins managed to improve in the very last moments. The ART Grand Prix driver was thus able to enter the Top 10 with an 8e time more than half a second behind Oliver Bearman. Isack Hadjar (Hitech GP) was not able to achieve his second place in the morning in free practice. After breaking his left front suspension by hitting a wall, the Habs managed to restart but could not do better than 3e more than 1" from the lead and just behind championship leader Ayumu Iwasa (DAMS) only 5e.
