The 2024 FIA season Formulas 2 will start from February 29 to March 2 at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain. Less than a month before the event, the starting grid is finally complete, following the signing of Taylor Barnard at PHM Racing. Here are the 22 drivers divided into 11 teams.
ART Grand Prix: Victor Martins (n°1) & Zak O’Sullivan (n°2)
Prema Racing: Oliver Bearman (n°3) & Andrea Kimi Antonelli (n°4)
Rodin Motorsport (ex-Carlin): Zane Maloney (n°5) & Ritomo Miyata (n°6)
DAMS: Jak Crawford (n°7) & Juan Manuel Correa (n°8)
Invicta Racing: Gabriel Bortoleto (n°9) and Kush Maini (n°10)
MP Motorsport: Dennis Hauger (n°11) & Franco Colapinto (n°12)
Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR): Rafael Villagomez (n°14) & Enzo Fittipaldi (n°15)
Hitech Grand Prix: Paul Aron (n°16) & Amaury Cordeel (n°17)
Campos Racing: Isack Hadjar (n°20) & Josep Maria Marti (n°21)
Trident Racing: Richard Verschoor (n°22) & Roman Stanek (n°23)
PHM Racing: Joshua Dürksen (n°24) & Taylor Barnard (n°25)
Among this contingent, there are 10 rookies and 7 drivers who are changing teams this winter. Three outgoing champions in other promotion formulas will be in the running: Ritomo Miyata (2023 Super Formula champion), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (2023 FRECA champion) as well as Gabriel Bortoleto (FIA champion F3 2023).
