  • This time, it should finally be the right one for Isack Hadjar! If on Saturday the race management was intransigent in finding him guilty of the incident with Josep Maria Marti (Campos) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Invicta) at the start of the Sprint Race (10 second penalty and loss of victory), the Campos driver set the record straight this Sunday by winning the Main Race.
  • Unhappy 24 hours earlier, the Ile-de-France resident this time saw events turn in his favor. The exit of the track of the leader Dennis Hauger (MP Motorsport) during the first refuelings at 10e lap allowed Isack Hadjar to make his stop under virtual safety car regime. A boon for the protégé Red Bull since this situation allowed him to come out virtually in the lead a few moments before the real safety car intervened.
  • From then on, the Frenchman rolled out his race plan, quickly getting rid of certain “latecomers” who served as a shield against Paul Aron (Hitech GP), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema) and Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport), while waiting for the drivers with an offbeat strategy to take their turn through the pits.
  • Kush Maini (Invicta), Juan Manuel Correa (DAMS) and Jak Crawford (DAMS) finally in the pit lane, Isack Hadjar was able to calmly take the lead of the race for the first time. A final sprint of two laps during which the Habs were not worried to take the checkerboard with a 4"4 lead over Paul Aron and 9"6 over Zane Maloney. Andrea Kimi Antonelli and Ritomo Miyata (Rodin Motorsport) completed the Top 5.
  • Penalized and deprived of his victory the day before, the person concerned responded in the best possible way, without making a fuss: on the track! Hoping there won't be an investigation until then...
  • For Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix), there were new points up for grabs. After his first of the season during the Sprint on Saturday, the member of theAlpine Academy made another comeback from 21st position on the grid to end its weekend in 9th place.
