Red Bull Junior Team reveals its drivers for 2022

The young guns of the Red Bull Junior Team were officially unveiled this morning in their respective teams. Reigning F3 champion Dennis Hauger continues his adventure at Prema on the upper level alongside Jehan Daruvala, while Isack Hadjar (F3) will make his debut at Hitech.

La Red Bull Junior Team has just revealed where its drivers will race this season, between the different promotion formulas of car. As we announced to you a few weeks ago, Dennis Hauger will continue his journey with Prema, in Formula 2 this time, alongside the Indian Jehan Daruvala, promoted to the Italian team for his third season in the antechamber of the F1. The only Frenchman in the Red Bull academy, Isack Hadjar will make his big debut in F3 with Hitech GP.

Nine drivers ready to fight

For its twenty-first year of existence, the Red Bull Junior Team has placed its trust in nine young drivers, all born in the 2000s. Five of them also feature in F2, three of whom were already winners last year. : Jehan Daruvala, Liam Lawson and Jüri Vips. For the first mentioned, after an encouraging second season concluded in seventh place in the championship, the arrival at Prema sounds like a great mark of confidence, alongside the no less impressive Norwegian Dennis Hauger, F3 champion last year. Liam Lawson joins Carlin, while his ex-teammate, Jüri Vips, remains with Hitech GP in 2022. French F4 champion in 2020, Ayumu Iwasa joins the championship with DAMS, after a discreet season in Formula 3 last year.

For his second year in Formula 3, the American Jak Crawford arrives at Prema, in a tough team alongside Oliver Bearman and Arthur Leclerc. Also for his second, Jonny Edgar is signing up with Trident, a more than successful team last year. Note the arrival of the young and promising Frenchman Isack Hadjar at Hitech in 2022.

On the French Formula 4 side, the Japanese Yuto Nomura will be accompanied by his compatriot Souto Arao, only sponsored by Red Bull this season. Also supported, the very young Swede Arvid Lindblad, only 14 years old, will also join an F4 championship with Van Amersfoort. Finally, Noel Leon is committed to FRECA with Arden for the coming season.
