Round 2 for Formula 2 in Saudi Arabia ! Once again, the F1 and its anteroom meet on the Jeddah track for a second weekend of racing from March 17 to 19. The last meeting in Bahrain was the scene of the excellent start to the season of Theo Pourchaire, qualifying first, 7 tenths behind his teammate Victor Martins, placed second. Very good form at ART Grand Prix which was confirmed during the sprint, the champion of F3 2022 qualifying third when Pourchaire was 5th. The reserve pilot Alfa Romeo established himself as a boss during the main race, when his teammate was unfortunately forced to abandon.

It was also Campos who had an excellent weekend, with two great performances from Ralph Boschung. Taking advantage of the battles at the rear, he was the first to take the checkered flag during the sprint… and retained a second place on Sunday. Kush Maini, his teammate, finished close to the podium and confirmed the good momentum in the Spanish garage.

Among the other French drivers, Isack Hadjar placed 7th in his Hitech GP, while Clément Novalak finished in 13th position.

The four French drivers and the entire 2023 grid in the premier category will be able to return to the track this Friday at 11:55 a.m. in Saudi Arabia before taking part in qualifying at 16 p.m. The sprint race will take place the next day at 16:10 p.m., while the main race will start at 14:15 p.m. on Sunday (French time).
