If Netflix allows us to discover the depths of the universe of Formula 1 with Drive To Survive, F1TV for its part offers us the possibility of following the young drivers of F2, the antechamber of the premier category, through its series Chasing The Dream.
A series whose third season has been available since Tuesday March 1 on the F1TV platform. Like Drive To Survive, CTD takes us behind the scenes of F2 and the last campaign where Oscar piastri was crowned with Prema after a very good year 2021.
In addition to the Australian's championship journey, Chasing The Dream looks back on the incredible weekend experienced by Theo Pourchaire in Monaco last May. On his “favorite” circuit, as he himself says in the episode dedicated to him, the French hopeful impressed everyone with a breathtaking pole position relegating his closest pursuer Oscar Piastri to almost half a second, making him the youngest pole sitter in F2 history at just 17 years old!
« I think this is the best ride of my life » he then declared before going to establish himself as a boss the next day in the Main Race in the streets of the Principality. In this episode of Chasing The Dream, Théo Pourchaire talks about his performance where we are also entitled to the participation of the director of his ART Grand Prix team, Sébastien Philippe.
