F2 tests – Felipe Drugovich sets the best time of the afternoon

The pilots of Formula 2 were on the Yas Marina circuit (Abu Dhabi) for the last tests of the year. After a morning dominated by Jack Doohan, it was Felipe Drugovich who set the best time of the afternoon. Like this Friday, It was the Brazilian who was the fastest on the track, with a time of 1'36″342. The MP Motorsport driver is ahead of Jehan Daruvala (+0″115). Dennis Hauger, champion in Formula 3 this year, comes in 3rd place with a delay of +0″496. This final session of the season was interrupted for a few minutes by a red flag, in order to clean the traces of oil present on the track.

In 4th position we find Juri Vips (+0″660) and Roy Nissany (+0″684) who complete the top 5. Amaury Cordeel is 6th (+0″910) ahead of Marcus Armontrong (+1″037). The good performance of Clément Novalak allows the Frenchman to be 8th (+1″184) ahead of Juan Manuel Correa (+1″417) and Cem Bolukbasi (+1″476) who bring up the rear in this top 10. Theo Pourchaire is only 16th (+2″709), two places behind the fastest man of the morning, Jack Doohan (2″456). Nevertheless, with his time of 1'36"110 achieved this morning, the Australian is the author of the best time of the day. Formula 2 drivers will meet in Bahrain during pre-season testing, the weekend of March 11 to 13.
