  • Third victory of the season for Frederik Vesti (Prema) after the Main Races in Jeddah and Monaco.
  • After a formation lap behind the safety car and a flying start, Frederik Vesti quickly got the better of second Jack Crawford (Hitech GP) with a solid (in every sense of the word) maneuver at the first corner. Very comfortable in these humid conditions due to the Catalan rain, the Dane then made short work of the “poleman” Amaury Cordeel (Virtuosi) in total distress.
  • The Prema driver took advantage of the fights behind him to take off to the point of being 7 seconds ahead of his closest pursuer Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) shortly after halfway. Time chosen by the drivers to get rid of the rain tires since the track was drying out.
  • A strategy that paid off for everyone because the Barcelona asphalt completely dried in a few minutes. In the dry and after a restart, Frederik Vesti did not tremble when he drove the point home. On the line, he did not beat Victor Martins since Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix) left nothing to chance in the final moments to move from 4e the 2e place in less than two laps after starting 9e on the grid.
  • In the championship, Frederik Vesti maintains the lead, now 6 points ahead of Théo Pourchaire.
