The future World Championship Formula E, 100% electric single-seaters attract. After the French Nicolas Cheers, Franck Montagny and Stéphane Sarrazin, the English Mike conway, Sam Bird or Katherine Legge to name a few, it is the turn of the Portuguese Antonio Felix Da Costa to be confirmed for the season which will begin on September 13 in Beijing, China. The current BMW driver in DTM German will be entered within the Japanese team Amlin Aguri alongside Katherine Legge.
Da Costa notably went through the categories of the World Series by Renault, in FR 2.0 NEC and in FR 3.5, a series where he finished 3rd last year in the general classification. He also took part in two sessions of the young driver tests F1 in Abu Dhabi in 2012 and at Silverstone in 2013 on behalf of the four-time world champions Red Bull Racing. The Portuguese will be part of the first collective tests of Formula E at Donington in England which will begin tomorrow.
