Formula e – BMW in support of Amlin Andretti

Alongside the announcement of its commitment to the WEC in the GTE category from 2018, BMW confirmed this Tuesday its involvement in Formula e, via support provided to training Amlin Andretti. Information that we had already reported on during the month of August (see Ah n°2076).

The arrival of António Félix da Costa, official BMW driver (who recently announced his intention to focus on the 100% electric single-seater with Andretti) for season 3, which will begin on October 9 in Hong Kong, constitutes the first contribution from the German brand, which will also include cooperation at the engineering level.
