Formula e – Dragon Racing retains its duo

This Friday, the FIA and the Formula e have confirmed the identity of the teams and traction chain manufacturers which will evolve during the next season of the 100-2016 2017% electric single-seater championship.

On the entry list, the Dragon Racing team is accompanied by the name of Faraday Future. The American company, specializing in mobility solutions, is working, among other things, on a 100% electric car project and came to the forefront a few days ago by formalizing the recruitment for the position of global manager of the brand a certain Marco Mattiacci, former Team Principal of the Team Ferrari in 2014.

On the sidelines of the finale of the second season in London this weekend, the partnership between the two structures was formalized during a press conference, where Dragon Racing also confirmed the renewal of the two drivers Loïc duval and Jerome d’Ambrosio, united under the American banner since the previous season and the Miami round.

The Belgian notably won this year in Mexico after the disqualification of Lucas di Grassi, for a mass of car improper. Jay Penske's team has therefore focused on stability, and should use its own powertrain, called 701-EV, for the next campaign, after using the solution developed by Venturi in 2016-2017.
