Formula e – Esteban Gutiérrez confirmed at Techeetah

The Mexican will compete at the end of the third season of Formula e with the Chinese team, replacing Ma Qing Hua.

Formula e – Esteban Gutiérrez confirmed at Techeetah

As we indicated last week (see Ah n°2105), Esteban Gutiérrez will join the ranks of Techeetah from the next round of the season, on his home ground in Mexico City.

The old pilot Haas en F1 will take the place of the Chinese Ma Qing Hua, who will however remain involved as third driver, and will support the Frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, author of a second place during the previous event in Buenos Aires in Argentina. Gutiérrez will be able to benefit from his car, traction chain Renault ZE16.

During his 59 appearances in F1, with Sauber then Haas, Gutiérrez scored six points, all obtained with his 7th place in Japan in 2013. The Mexican also won the GP3 championship in 2010 with ART Grand Prix.
