Formula e – Frijns will continue with Andretti

Recruited for the second campaign of the Formula e alongside the Swiss Simona de Silvestro, Robin Frijns has been confirmed for the third season 2016-2017 even before the season finale scheduled for this weekend in London, Great Britain.

After his passage in F1 as a test driver for Sauber and Caterham F1, and for his debut in the 100% electric single-seater championship, Frijns took third place in Putrajaya in Malaysia last November.

In the SRO Motorsports GT series, of which he is the reigning Blancpain GT Series champion, the native of Maastricht impressed in his debut last year alongside Laurens Vanthoor at Team WRT by signing five wins, and losing the Sprint title during of the last round of Zandvoort.
