Formula E – Hong Kong on the calendar for the third season

The organizers of the Formula E announced the registration of Hong Kong on the discipline's calendar for the third season. The ePrix will be contested on October 9, 2016 on a two-kilometer circuit with ten turns between Lung Wo Road and the Star Ferry where speeds of the cars can reach 225 km/h.

“The Hong Kong ePrix will be one of the highlights of the Formula E calendar. Hong Kong is one of the most innovative and attractive cities in the world, it shares the same qualities as Formula E”, declared Alejandro Agag, the director of the discipline, during a press conference held at the Central Harbourfront Event space.

China is already hosting Formula E with the Beijing ePrix where the second season will begin on October 24.
