Jacques Villeneuve and the Venturi team have decided by mutual agreement to end their collaboration. Mike Conway will replace the Canadian.

Formula e – Jacques Villeneuve and Venturi separate

Jacques Villeneuve had joined the Formula e at the start of the second season by joining the Venturi team for the 2015-2016 campaign. The passage of the 1997 World Champion F1 within the Monegasque team, however, only lasted the space of three races.

The Canadian and Venturi confirmed by mutual agreement this Friday the end of their collaboration. The reason given: differences in points of view on the future directions of training.

The team quickly announced the Canadian's replacement, in the person of Mike conway. The Briton will find a figure he knows well since he will support the Frenchman Stéphane Sarrazin, alongside last year in the World Championship ofEndurance in Toyota.

Conway will be lined up from February 4 in Buenos Aires in Argentina, the next round of Formula e.
