Formula E – Salvador Durán replaces Katherine Legge at Amlin

While Antonio Felix Da Costa made his debut in Malaysia in Putrajaya, the Portuguese will be supported in Uruguay on the Punta del Este track this Saturday for the third round of the Formula E by Salvador Duran. The latter will replace the British Katherine Legge, selected by preliminary tests in USC with a view to Daytona.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to join the Amlin Aguri team and embark on this new adventure with a new team in a new sport. This innovative championship highlights a new era for motorsport and I can’t wait to get involved. I've followed the team and the championship closely and I can see that this car reacts really differently, which is a fantastic challenge. » said the Mexican.

Durán, 29 years old, notably played in A1GP for Team Mexico (two successes in 2005-2006) and in FR 3.5 (two victories between 2007 and 2008). He was also a member of the victorious crew at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2007 within Telmex Ganassi Racing on the Riley-Lexus driven alongside Colombian Juan-Pablo Montoya and American Scott Pruett.
