Formula E – Vergne and Bird reunited at DS Virgin

The DS Virgin Racing team confirmed this morning its two drivers for the 2015-2016 Formula E season. Jean-Eric Vergne will team up with Sam Bird.

Formula E – Vergne and Bird reunited at DS Virgin

Jean-Eric Vergne will find the races of Formula E in 2015-2016. But it is not with the Andretti team, with whom he had competed in nine races this year, that the former driver Toro Rosso will evolve for the second campaign.

Virgin Racing confirmed the presence of the Frenchman this Saturday alongside the Briton Sam bird, driver of the team in season 1 alongside Jaime Alguersuari, who recently announced his package for medical reasons.

The current resident of Maranello, where he operates as a test driver, particularly on the in-house simulator, will team up with Sam Bird, who won the Putrajaya events in Malaysia in 2014-2015, and the last race in London.
