Formula E comes to São Paulo for the very first time

Formula E and the city of São Paulo have agreed to organize the very first E-Prix in the category in Brazil next season. The two parties announced that they had signed a contract for the next five seasons, in parallel with the arrival of a new era of single-seaters, Gen3.

Formula E arrives in São Paulo for the first time in its history

On the occasion of the last E-Prix organized in the Principality, and won by Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes), The Formula E took advantage of its weekend to formalize the arrival of a new race on its calendar in 2023, by mutual agreement with the Brazilian city of São Paulo. The championship of car Electric is expected to be there for at least the next five years, subject to FIA approval.

A new generation of car, for new E-Prix(es)?
