  • At the start, Maximilian Günther (Maserati MSG Racing) retained first place against his compatriot Pascal Wehrlein (TAG Heuer Porsche Formula E Team), started 3rd on the grid.
  • The Porsche driver took the lead on the third lap and held his position until the end.
  • Wehrlein held off Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti Formula E) to win this first race of the weekend in Indonesia.
  • Maximilian Günther completed the podium.
  • The DS PENSKE drivers, Stoffel Vandoorne and Jean-Eric Vergne, took 4th and 5th places.
  • New clash between Jaguar drivers this season: Sam Bird sent Mitch Evans into a spin a few laps from the checkered flag.
  • Championship leader, Nick Cassidy (Envision Racing) settled for 7th place.
  • See you this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. (French time) for the second race of the weekend.
