The new era of Formula E is thrown. At the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City (Mexico), Jake Dennis (Avalanche Andretti) became the first victorious driver with a Gen3.

« It's absolutely incredible to win by this margin, to start from the front row and get a one-two finish with a Porsche (Porsche powertrain for Andretti. Editor's note), Dennis said of his fourth Formula E victory. A big thank you to my team. »

« These cars are so physically difficult to drive, adds the winner of the Mexican weekend. This makes things even more difficult, but even more rewarding. The fans in attendance were simply sensational in this final round. I could really hear them clapping. »

Next race in Saudi Arabia

Jake Dennis dedicates this victory to his team, Avalanche Andretti. “ We worked so well, he thanks. When everything was against us, as was the case in qualifying, we reversed the trend and made some small adjustments for the race, which worked out perfectly for us. Congratulations to my guys. I am nothing without them. » The 27-year-old driver finished the qualifying tournament with a damaged front wing, penalizing him in the final.

It's now ancient history and the championship leader is already planning for the future. The next meeting of the Formula E season will be Diriyah (Saudi Arabia) on January 27 and 28 for the first double-header of this year.

Andretti, a winning team wherever it enters! A good combination of circumstances for the Andretti / Cadillac file in F1?
