  • He thought he had signed his second pole position in Formula E. As in Cape Town, Sacha Fenestraz beat all his rivals to take pole for the Monaco E-Prix... but more than an hour after the end of qualifying, the stewards canceled the Nissan driver's time in the final for overpowering ( power greater than 350kW). The Franco-Argentinian will have to settle for 2nd place on the grid.

  • As a result, it is ultimately Jake Hughes, beaten in the final by the Frenchman, who will start from pole position in front of the #23 Nissan. The Briton obtains his second pole of the season after the one won in Diriyah.
  • Norman Nato signed his best qualification of the year. The Cannes player entered the final stages for the first time this season and reached the semi-final, beaten by his teammate Sacha Fenestraz. The second Nissan will start from 3rd place.
  • Sergio Sette Camara, who qualified for the semi-final after beating Maximilian Günther, saw his quarter-final time canceled. The Brazilian did not respect the procedure at the lights when leaving the pits.
  • Pascal Wehrlein and Nick Cassidy, leading the drivers' championship, were eliminated in the group stage. The two rivals will start in the middle of the peloton (Cassidy 9th, Wehrlein 12th).
  • The two DS-Penske drivers will start from the last row in Monaco. Stoffel Vandoorne and Jean-Éric Vergne had their qualifying times canceled due to a technical infraction.
