A good part of the plateau Formula E Although it may have been repainted red, the opponents of Venturi and Edoardo Mortara will be in a state of dismay at the end of the pre-season tests in Valencia (Spain). This Thursday, December 2, the Swiss and the Monegasque team actually set the best time of the three days of training.

The 2021 vice-champion of the electric discipline took advantage of a single six-hour session to register the best mark, with a margin of four hundredths over double champion Jean-Éric Vergne (DS Techeetah). The title holder, Nyck de Vries (Mercedes) achieved the sixth fastest time.

This final day took place without Antonio Giovinazzi (Dragon Penske), the Italian having flown to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) to compete in his penultimate Grand Prix of Formula 1 pour le compte d'Alfa Romeo. No replacement was found and the car remained in the garage.

Another rookie, Daniel Ticktum, hopped on a plane to the Middle East, this time to race in Formula 2. The new NIO recruit left the wheel to the experienced Adam Carroll (21st), who finished just ahead of his teammate, Oliver Turvey.

Finally, the American Oliver Askew (Andretti) caused the red flag to come out following a crash into the gravel after a quarter of an hour of driving, with no consequences other than a loss of time for the beginner.
