New engine manufacturer for Envision Racing

Envision Racing becomes the first customer team of the British manufacturer/engine manufacturer Jaguar. The two teams have concluded a deal over several years allowing them to increase their strength for entry into the third generation of single-seaters in Formula E.

« Jaguar and its factory team have been one of our fiercest competitors in Formula E since joining the championship in 2016 ", said Sylvain Filippi, general manager and technical director at Envision. 

« I am proud to announce that we will be supplying Envision Racing with our Jaguar Gen3 powertrain », James Barclay, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover Motorsport. “ They are one of the most competitive teams in Formula E and it is an honor that they have decided to use our powertrain technology in this new era of FIA Formula E ».

After the Diriyah Grand Prix, the British team is 4th in the constructor standings. Since its arrival in 2014, the team has won 11 races and been on the podium 34 times in 86 races run. She also finished 3rd in the Formula E championship three times.
