  • Everything came down to the last seconds, the last meters of this São Paulo E-Prix! Sam Bird (McLaren) won on the last lap, pulling off a daring maneuver in the final turns of the race! The Briton takes his first victory since the 2021 New York E-Prix, and becomes the second oldest winner in the history of the Formula E behind Lucas di Grassi. It is also the first victory for McLaren in Formula E since joining the discipline in 2023.
  • The McLaren driver built his race in an authoritative manner, finding himself at the front of the race quickly. After leading for most of the race, Sam Bird then found himself battling with Mitch Evans in the final laps, before regaining control a few meters from the finish, with a sublime overtake from the outside of the penultimate turn.
  • Another fantastic finish, that of Oliver Rowland (Nissan) who went from 5th to 3rd place in the last corner! The Briton took advantage of a battle between Jake Dennis (Andretti) and Pascal Wehrlein (Porsche), who got in the way when approaching the last corner, only to get inside and take the podium at the buzzer! This is a second consecutive podium for Oliver Rowland and Nissan after the Diriyah E-Prix.
  • A more complicated race on the other hand for DS Penske: after the great promises of qualifying, with the two cars in the Top 3 on the grid, Jean-Éric Vergne and Stoffel Vandoorne were trapped during the race and finished 7th and 8th respectively , without having really played for victory.
  • The two other Frenchmen finished outside the points: Sacha Fenstraz (Nissan) failed to reach the points, while Norman Nato experienced a difficult race at the back of the peloton, including a collision with Lucas di Grassi. The Cannes resident is ranked 18th.
  • The poor operation of the weekend is to the credit of the leader of the championship, Nick Cassidy. The New Zealander gave up halfway through the race. After damaging his front wing in the first laps, the vice-world champion saw his wing pass under his car, thus losing control of the direction. The Jaguar driver, a passenger in the accident, hit the wall head-on before ending his race in the escape route. Nick Cassidy remained on three podiums in as many E-Prixes this season.

  • In the championship, if Nick Cassidy retains the lead in the Drivers' standings with 57 points, this zero point benefits Pascal Wehrlein who is right on the heels of the New Zealander with 53 points. Mitch Evans climbs to third place with 39 points, tied with Jean-Éric Vergne. Jaguar still largely leads the teams' championship with 96 points, ahead of Porsche (61 points) and DS Penske (57 points).
