Gianluca Petecof at Campos in F2
Campos Racing has made official the signing of Formula Regional Europe champion Gianluca Petecof for the campaign Formula 2 2021, alongside Ralph Boschung.
The 18-year-old scored five poles, four wins and 14 podiums on his journey to the title, prompting Campos to promote him straight to F2. He will make his debut for them during pre-season testing in Bahrain in March.
Petecof started car in 2018, competing in Italian and German Formula 4, achieving one victory and seven podiums in both championships.
The Brazilian went on to win Italian F4 the following season, adding four more wins and eight podiums, while finishing fifth in ADAC F4.
