GP2 – Dams unveils its crew for 2017

After ART Grand Prix, it's Dams' turn to reveal his drivers for the 2017 GP2 Series season. Jean-Paul Driot's team will look to obtain better results after finishing 5th in the Team rankings last year.

Dams will keep Nicholas latifi after the Canadian finished in 16th position in the Drivers' standings last year.

“Our main objective is to constantly evolve at the forefront and obtain better results than last year, recognized Nicholas Latifi. I am happy to stay with the team for a second season as I have already established good relationships with the staff. This will be all the more useful to me as we don't have a lot of track time in GP2 and we have to constantly adapt to the conditions. We all know where we need to improve. »

Nicholas Latifi will be joined by Oliver Rowland who played last year with MP Motorsport. The 2015 Formula champion Renault 3.5 Series will replace Alex Lynn.

“The goal is to dominate the series, that’s my goal that I share with the team, commented the Briton. Dams has already won titles in the past with Valsecchi, Grosjean and Palmer. I am arriving in a structure which has a good track record and I intend to take advantage of it to be at my best level. I had some difficulties with the tires in my first year, but I was still able to get some good results. I will have a much better approach to meetings this season. »
