GP2 – Norman Nato best time of the day

The best time of the third day of pre-season testing at Jerez in Spain remained with Frenchman Norman Nato following the afternoon session on the Andalusian track. Author of a time this morning in 1'24″518, the Racing Engineering driver did not see his reference lowered after the break.

It was Arthur Pic (Rapax) who dominated the proceedings in the afternoon, setting a best lap in 1'25″583. The younger brother of Charles Pic is ahead of his teammate Gustav Malja and the two Russian Time cars of Artem Markelov and Raffaele Marciello. The two residents of Arden International Jimmy Eriksson and Nabil Jeffri complete the top 6.

After being highlighted this morning, Pierre Gasly (Prema Racing) and Norman Nato finished beyond the top 10 in 15th and 18th positions, the latter nevertheless accumulating 51 laps.

The GP2 Series championship will begin the weekend of May 13 in Barcelona.
