Benefiting from a place gained with the penalty from Felipe Nasr (Dams), Tom Dillmann took advantage of the reversed grid of Race 2 to start from pole. The Frenchman made a perfect start and quickly left himself a cushion ahead of his opponents to head towards his first success of the season. But the Rapax driver had trouble with the comeback of Luiz Razia (Arden International) who continued to attack in the last three laps to take the lead of the race. The Brazilian lost a tenth behind the winner.
The podium is completed by Davide Valsecchi (Dams), irresistible at the start of the season with three victories in three races contested on the Sakhir circuit. The Italian signs here a new podium which ensures his place as leader in the Championship. Esteban Gutiérrez (Lotus GP) could not resist the pressure from the leader of the general classification and took fourth position ahead of Felipe Nasr (Dams) and Ryo Haryanto (Carlin). Marcus Ericsson (iSport International) gradually went down the hierarchy to find himself seventh ahead of Fabio Leimer (Racing Engineering) and Fabio Onidi (Team Coloni). Nathanaël Berthon (Racing Engineering) completes the top ten.
