Hitech Grand Prix arrives in F2

Hitech Grand Prix will arrive this year in F2 by occupying 11th place in the list of teams admitted for the 2020 season. The British structure will have numbers 24 and 25. Oliver Oakes' team is coming off a very good season in the lower category by taking second place in the Teams ranking. F3.

“The move to F2 was something we had planned for a while, confided Oliver Oakes. The arrival of 18-inch wheels in 2020 made our arrival necessary at this time rather than at the end of the year. We thus avoid the loss of a year of learning. We are obviously a little behind on our preparations arriving so late, but we love the challenge at Hitech. We are aware that the task will be difficult against very established teams in F2, but I believe in my group. »

Hitech GP will take part in pre-season testing in Bahrain from March 1-3. The team has not yet revealed its drivers while the first race will be contested on the Sakhir track on the weekend of March 22.
