Convincing in Andalusia, he was able to take his place in the seat of the BMW-Sauber on the third day. Although he ultimately failed to land a seat in F1, Bertrand Baguette was able to make a name for himself beyond borders. If Baguette only has to ride at the third meeting of the season, he will travel to the United States this season. “ We will have the opportunity to get to know each other better in a few days since he will come to visit us during the second meeting in St. Petersburg. Then we will offer him a test drive to familiarize himself with the car before the first race, at the Barber Motorsport circuit in Alabama. »

Eric Bachelart, in addition to his satisfaction at recruiting a young driver, is also happy to be able to have a compatriot ride. It is certain that this collaboration will bear fruit. “ We have the same culture, the same language. Factors that will help Bertrand integrate here. Together, we can achieve great things. It is very well supported by the RACB, it benefits from an excellent image in the Belgian media. In short, I really believe in this project »
