IndyCar – Filippi with Dale Coyne in St Petersburg
There was still a place to be taken at Dale CoyneRacing for the first round of the 2016 season IndyCar TV Shows, contested this weekend in St Petersburg, Florida. The American team finally confirmed the presence of the Italian Luke Philippi at the wheel of the No. 19 Dallara-Honda, alongside Conor Daly who will ride in the No. 18.
The former GP2 Series resident (vice-champion of the discipline in 2011), competed in the 2015 season with Carpenter Fisher Hartman Racing, taking part in events organized on urban or road circuits. His commitment to the Plainfield (Illinois) team has so far only been confirmed for St Petersburg, even if owner Dale Coyne wishes to include him in the sixteen races on the program in 2016.
