IndyCar – James Hinchcliffe triumphs in Iowa

He is currently the only driver to have 3 victories this year. James Hinchcliffe won the Iowa Corn Indy 250, the 10th meeting of the season. Special feature of this new success: it is the first time that the Andretti Autosport driver has won a race contested on an oval. Behind the Canadian, we find the 2012 reigning champion Ryan Hunter-Reay, who grabs a few points on Helio Castroneves (8th here, Editor's note) in the Drivers' standings, and the latest winner of the Indianapolis 500, Tony Kanaan.

Among the French, the best performance is to be credited to simon pagenaud, 6th. A position which allows him to leave the town of Newton (Iowa) having moved up one place in the championship: he is now 6th with 241 points, between Tony Kanaan (253 pts) and Scott Dixon (240 pts). Tristan Vautier finished in 13th position, just ahead of Sébastien Bourdais.
