IndyCar – Ryan Briscoe dives back into Panther in Milwaukee

If he no longer has a full-time seat in IndyCar Series, there was no way Ryan Briscoe would miss the Milwaukee meeting, even if it took place a few days before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, an event he will compete in for the first time at the wheel of the No. 03 Level 5 Motorsports HPD ARX-33b. It was in fact on this Wisconsin circuit, in 2008, that the Australian won his first victory in the IndyCar Series, thereby giving his boss at the time Roger Penske his 300th victory in all disciplines.

This weekend, he will not defend the interests of Team Penske, nor those of Chip Ganassi Racing, which hired his services for the Indianapolis 500. As was the case in Detroit ten days ago, he will sit in the No. 4 Panther Racing Dallara-Chevrolet which sports the colors of the National Guard.

“We are delighted to have Ryan Briscoe back with us this weekend, underlines John Barnes, managing partner of Panther Racing. It was really interesting working with him in Detroit. Apparently he knows the places on the Milwaukee Mile, and so we are confident about our chances of having a good weekend. We are working to enter him in other events this season, and hope to finalize this soon. »

Already requisitioned in Texas last week, the Spaniard Oriol Servia will return to the seat of the No. 4 on June 23, at the Iowa Speedway.
