IndyCar – Sébastien Bourdais fit to race

After his violent accident during qualifying practice for the Indianapolis 500 last May, Sébastien Bourdais has never hidden his ambition to get back behind the wheel of his Dale Coyne before the end of the season.

Three months of convalescence and treatment allowed Bourdais to return to the championship after first tests at the end of July. He announced the news last night on social networks.

« Some people wonder why I was in Indianapolis today...well I had my last appointment with my doctors and guess what? Everything's fine, let's go running! »

If his presence in Pocono (Pennsylvania) or in Illinois has not been confirmed, the Frenchman's initial objective of a return to Watkins Glen (New York) is fulfilled.
