After Tristan Vautier, it is Alex Baron's turn to aim for a rise to theIndyCar by entering Indy Lights with Belardi Auto Racing. The 2012 F4 champion failed to make his mark in Formula Renault 2.0 where he was engaged with ART Junior Team. On the other hand, the Frenchman distinguished himself on the other side of the Atlantic by competing in several USF2000 events.
Alex Baron managed to win twice on the Laguna Seca circuit and in Houston in particularly rainy conditions. At the end of a convincing test session carried out on the Lucas Oil oval in Indianapolis, the French driver took his wheel with Belardi Auto Racing which will enter him directly in Indy Lights, the last step before the IndyCar that his compatriot Tristan Vautier won last year.
