Askew returns with Arrow McLaren SP in Saint Petersburg

Victim of going off the track during the Indy 500, Oliver Askew complained of dizziness during the meeting at Mid-Ohio in September. The medical service of theIndyCar had then declared him unfit to drive again.

The formalization of his departure from Arrow McLaren SP at the end of the season led to believe that Oliver Askew would no longer drive with the American team. Nope. Finally, the Floridian will be there for the last event of the 2020 campaign.

Arrow McLaren SP has announced that Oliver Askew has been deemed fit by the IndyCar medical department to start the Saint Petersburg Grand Prix in the No. 7 Chevrolet this Sunday (October 25).

« I thank Arrow McLaren SP for all their support during this difficult time. I would also like to thank Doctor Bilows and the IndyCar medical department for their advice and attention, insisted the main person concerned. I hope I can finish the season in the best possible way ».
