Colton Herta confirmed with Andretti

While Colton Herta offered pole for Indycar finale at Laguna Seca (California), the American has been confirmed for the 2020 season with Harding Steinbrenner Autosport. The team of Mike Harding and George Steinbrenner has joined forces with Andretti Autosport, which will see its workforce increased to 5 drivers.

“It has always been my goal to drive for Andretti Autosport since my father (Bryan Herta) drove for them in the mid-2000s., comments the winner of the race in Phoenix (Arizona) where at 19 he became the youngest winner in Indycar. I grew up around the Andretti team and many of the people who already worked with my father are still there today. I am sure I will feel at home. The winter break is going to be long. »

Colton Herta will thus become Alexander's teammate Red, by Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Zach Veach.
