Dario Franchitti hits the jackpot in Toronto

Dario Franchitti savors another victory won on the Toronto road circuit. The Target Chip Ganassi Racing team carried out an excellent operation as Scott Dixon gave his team a double.

Will Power (Team Penske) lost contact with the Championship leader after retiring by hitting the wall while the two general classification leaders were fighting for victory. The Australian?s abandonment was just another yellow flag in this race completely disrupted by race interruptions.

Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport) finished third. The American is ahead of his teammate Marco Andretti, author of a very good comeback from 20th place, and Vitor Meira (AJ Foyt Entreprises), who started from 14th position.

Sébastien Bourdais (Dale Coyne Racing) was already in a good position at the start, starting from seventh place. The Frenchman managed to improve his position by gaining a position at the finish, after being involved in a collision with Paul Tracy (Dragon Racing) and Charlie Kimball (Novo Nordisk Chip Ganassi Racing).
